Some fireplaces fade into the background. This one had lost its shine and its role as the heart of the living room.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We brought it back to center stage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We designed a simple, graphic volume clad in hand-laid green zellige tiles. The small irregularities, the shine, the subtle variations in tone\u2026 everything catches the light throughout the day. On the floor, a rug of cement tiles highlights the hearth and protects the old wooden flooring \u2014 a nod to the past without slipping into nostalgia.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Around it, we kept things understated to let the whole breathe:<\/strong> light walls, discreet shelving, a few objects and plants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A seemingly minimal intervention, with maximum impact in everyday life.
