Isn’t it quite a challenge these days to find a house with a garden right in the heart of Brussels?

And then you move just a little further out and discover this lovely little home in its original state. A beautiful blank canvas to work with, bringing it more character and authenticity through noble materials that sometimes echo classic Brussels townhouses. Materials that never go out of style and add so much charm to our interiors. And when they aren’t there originally — well, we recreate them 🙂
We revamped the kitchen by changing the backsplash, door handles and flooring. We created a brand-new bathroom, a super charming little WC, painted the staircase and doors, sanded the upstairs parquet and replaced the ground-floor flooring, redid the paintwork, updated the electrical system and heating, built a new fireplace with an integrated wood stove, and transformed the attic into a playroom. In total, 3 months of renovation and a house that became unrecognizable inside, blending modernity and authenticity.
