Some fireplaces fade into the background. This one had lost its shine and its role as the heart of the living room.

We brought it back to center stage.

We designed a simple, graphic volume clad in hand-laid green zellige tiles. The small irregularities, the shine, the subtle variations in tone… everything catches the light throughout the day. On the floor, a rug of cement tiles highlights the hearth and protects the old wooden flooring — a nod to the past without slipping into nostalgia.

Around it, we kept things understated to let the whole breathe: light walls, discreet shelving, a few objects and plants.

A seemingly minimal intervention, with maximum impact in everyday life.
The fireplace once again becomes a focal point — contemporary and warm — as if it had always been there, only better.
