Schaerbeek
Renovating an old house in Schaerbeek often means working with a strong personality: generous moldings, impressive ceiling heights, traces of the past we cherish… and that must be handled with care.
This young household entrusted us with the mission to rebalance their interior, making it more fluid and brighter, without ever erasing the incredible charm of this Brussels architecture.
The kitchen was completely redesigned around a deep green, elegant and timeless. Paired with light wood and bold black accents, it becomes a true living space, where the warm lighting highlights every detail: shelves, everyday objects, and graphic floor tiles.
In the entrance, the staircase regained all its clarity: clean lines, a light railing, discreet furniture. A breath of fresh air without denying the home’s character.
The living room, meanwhile, was treated with immense respect: ornate ceilings, a majestic black fireplace, built-in bookcases… We worked in the shadows, almost silently, to reveal what was already there, simply by supporting it and bringing it into the light.
In the end, this renovation tells exactly what we love: a place that regains its softness and coherence without losing its soul. A house that finally seems to say: “This is me.”
