Amy’s Nest

Amy had just arrived from Canada. Her search had led her to a very modern, freshly renovated apartment in Ixelles. The problem? Its walls lacked soul. Having always lived in places rich with history, and being a lover of antique furniture and elegant fireplaces, her new living space didn’t truly reflect who she was.

I quickly understood Amy’s needs. My mission became clear: to bring authenticity and warmth through carefully selected vintage furniture pieces, along with touches of color and texture to soften the overly contemporary look.

Another rather important detail: this was a rental for a maximum of five years. We therefore had to choose pieces Amy could take with her, and make as few changes to the walls as possible so she wouldn’t have to repaint everything white at the end of the lease. Mission accomplished — on budget and on schedule! We also “greenified” her outdoor terrace to extend her living space and allow her to enjoy the few beautiful months of Belgian sunshine 😉
